It is a really fun track, although it is more suited for smaller lighter cars like miata's or older Camaros.

They do open track days there as well once in a while and it's very cheap (if you don't factor in tire wear).

With your work schedule, you should take a look at open track days at NOLA MSP. They tend to fall on the Friday before NASA events so that may not help you out much, but they are not usually too crowded. Just plan on being in the beginner group of whatever you do. I had a friend sign up for the intermediate group because he thought his car was going to be faster than a lot of the other cars out there, and he was quickly moved to beginner.
