I am actually a bit shocked the Corvette hasn't gotten the A10 yet, as I've not really heard good stories about the A8. I'm a manual only guy myself so it's not a big issue to me either way though.

I can believe that, I know the people with 8 Speeds get a little better MPG than I do with the 6 speed.
These little improvements really add up over a few years.
