I have been following your issues and glad that you finally managed to find the culprit.
Can you elaborate on the whining issue?
I seem to notice a very subtle whine from the rear end as well.
Seems to stop when I press the clutch and comes back when I engage the clutch again. It is especially noticeable when turning very slow speed.
It does not happen all the time, only once in a while and this is the disturbing fact - I cant find the reason.....
