I thought dex6 and potentially hp lv was a thinner viscosity than dexiii. Obviously will need to do some digging and confirm. I would be extremely careful to not go thinner than oe.
I use rp synromesh and remember it being higher viscosity @ operating temp than oe when I last looked. I noticed little to no trade off in cold weather performance.
There are records of people using rp redline and amsoil back in the t56. Over 20 years of testing. I’m not sure I would risk being a geinea pig at this point.
I’ve only tried Mobil 1 dex 3 and rp. I did not like how notchy the M1 was and drained it
