Other than that, if I couldn't have afforded what I bought I would have purchased an LT1, taken the badges off, but better rims and tires on it and been happy to have it.

The LT1 seems like a great option for anyone who plans to keep it a street car or even drag racing. It's still an extraordinarily capable car, just might to hold up to the heat on a road course. As far as wheels and tires, a lot of people change those anyway on whatever trim they get, so it's not a huge detriment. If they do, then they end up with a winter set as well.
