Doubtful, but never say never. Not sure about 6 gens but on 5th gens the ECF inserts were hand picked from the 'perfect' laydown of the weave, while the imperfect ones were painted. So even if you could remove the paint, the weave might look like a den of snakes trying to kick each others asses.
