Did that recently as I wanted to torque the passenger side. Sadly didn't make a difference for me but I'm thinking that since the bellows boot was off for god knows how long that a bunch of the grease/lube dried up. The noise is has returned not as bad as before but I remember it was like this before it got worse, I'll have to get some of the right grease/lube and apply it to the bellows boot/tie rod/steering rack portion to see
