Suspension noise

At 6,200 miles, my perfect 2SS front suspension got a noise over minor bumps. In searching this problem, I read a lot of frustrated comments about it here and on other sites.

The issue is the front stabilizer bar end link loosening up just enough to make a drum like sound over small bumps. There is a service bulletin about it and the fix is a simple torquing of the nuts on these links.

“Document ID: 4756932. #PIC6276: Clunck noise from front suspension at low speeds 3/27/2017”

Don’t assume your shocks are bad or your magnetic ride is shot. Just torque these end links to spec and enjoy your car again. Lower nut torque spec is 89 ft lbs or 120 NM. Upper nut 74 ft lbs or 100 NM.
