I use Valvoline, but I'd apply the same intervals regardless of what approved oil i used. With that in mind, i change oil when computer indicates 50%. I just look at it as an inexpensive "insurance" and been using it on various GM vehicles in the past, from a Vette track car (for about 10 years of beating up on it hard), to a DD Tahoe and Sierra hauler.
