I have a 2017 camaro 2ss convertible I bought brand new from a dealership. My son works at a different dealer and they took a trade n a 2017 c7 with 2500 miles so I went t see about trading car for it. So manager comes back in after viewing car and says your car was salvaged. I said no I bought brand new so he figured out that the vin under windshield is different that one on drivers side door. He tells me I can’t trade in until he gets an approval from Gm, oh did I mention I’m getting my sons employee discount which is significant. Everyone should check vins in both locations and make sure there the same.
