Hey guys,
My apologies for posting a noob question, but I have searched and searched and cannot find the exact answer I am looking for.

Are the 6 speed manual transmissions the same for the LT1 & Lt4 equipped engines?
Also are they T56 (Super) Magnums or TR6060's? I've seen conflicting articles saying they are one and the other.

I would think they are the same trans themselves but that the LT4 would have beefier components?

When looking at GM Performance site for component purchasing, they only offer the M6 for LT1 package (rated to 700tq/HP) but only the A8 for the LT4? Possibly more so because of the wiring harnesses they have?

I have an LT4 and A8 already but am wanting the M6 for tunnel fitment reasons and figured if I could buy a lift out LT1/T56 Magnum (or TR6060) package, I could use the LT1 (with spare blower) and the LT4's A8 in a different build I've got going on.
