I am currently using NGK 6510's, they are still iridiums. They are one step cooler. There are a bunch of pre-gap options for that plug on various ecoboost websites.
Depending on the winter E85 mix at my local pump, I may swap in 2 step cooler platinum plug. For that I will use some motorcraft sp-524's.
One thing you don't mention, but should consider, is what gap will you run.
Really need to log data to make sure your not having an issue there.
