I'd be the last to criticize anyone's preferred seating position, and thanks for the pic.
So, strictly as my personal take, this looks like a 75% gangsta lean to me, the ideal seatback tilt angle I read about everywhere and can attest to personally is at 100°—when you place your hands on top of the steering wheel with your arms completely stretched out, your wrists are touching the wheel. When I set my seat up that way, it's comfortable, easier to focus on the road, and I have several inches behind the seat, enough for my 12 year old to be comfortable.
That said, I have the A8, so I don't interact with the shift knob that often, that is a fair point. Another minor gotcha is that my exit position is way more towards the back than the driving position, so I need to remember to turn off auto exit position recall when someone rides behind me, or tell them to get out on the passenger side before I touch my door handle
