The OEM rotors weigh 5lbs more than than the Girodisc and are the same weight as the SS 1LE OEM rotors...plus, I've driven a few cars with the Giro rotors and have been impressed....

Though the Girodisc weight savings is the wider hat and smaller ring (less thermal capacity). Whatever works for each of us...
