Others will get around them with minor tweaks just like GM is doing. Look at Ferrari 488 and new Mac, they are both graced nose to tail with active splitters, wings, ducts and adjustable ride height not only for straights but for corner bias as well. Watch for similar moveable elements on 2019 Mustang, they're testing them now along with supercharged Voodoo 5.2. Active aero is relatively inexpensive and we'll see more moving forward.
