I tried both, too much body roll in the Mustang GT for me. Stock for stock they are so close on power. Mustang has more "space", but so does my SUV.
Went with the LT1 in black, had the cloth swapped for heated leather in red, already had the RS package sitting on the lot, larger display and bose sound. Added a splitter and a spoiler, 305/285 1LE size wheels and she rips great. Also, WAY too many mustangs on the road..
