ZL1 1LE track car advice

I'm active on the Corvette forum, but I'm new to this forum. First time post!

I'm a prospective ZL1 1LE buyer looking for advice on this car. I've looked through the sticky notes and other posts, so hopefully the following questions don't repeat other threads.

I am buying the car primarily for doing track days. I currently run an '03 Z06. I do A LOT of track days--about 50 total in this car alone in the past 4 years of ownership, plus time in other cars. So, what appeals to me about the Camaro is the amount of performance you get for the $, and the fact that if anything breaks I will have a warranty.

1) What if any mods are required to make the car suitable for doing a lot of track driving?
2) I understand that a lot of people use 18 in wheels for track use for a wide selection of track tires/slicks. Is there a Camaro 18 in wheel that is suitable (not heavy), or do you go aftermarket?
3) Any overheating issues?
4) Any reliability issues?
5) Are the brakes fully up to the task of hard track driving? I use up all the car's ability and on my '03 Z06 I have had to do extensive brake mods to keep them from fluid fading.
6) How does an extended warranty work on these cars? If I buy an '08 in January of 2020 (that's my plan), I guess I'll have 3 years left on the factory powertrain warranty. Is there a way to extend that warranty for the powertrain? I'd like to own the car for 5 years and still have a powertrain warranty until the end of ownership.
7) Any other advice on tracking these cars?
