Once you have added your signature to the forum, you can actually make it clickable by adding a website or your journal/build thread to the signature. This makes it easier to put up a nice picture or not have a 523432423423 text of your mods list.
To do so, do the following:
Go to your journal, then copy the address bar with the link to your journal.
Then go to your [User CP] and click [Edit Signature] in the left column.
Highlight [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] in the text box.
Now, click the [Insert Link] icon (it looks like the globe with chain link in front of it) and paste your journal's web address. Then click [OK], and it should be set!
Additionally, if you have a link to a website with pics, you just want to use that link address..
