I see cars that have knock on the dyno on a regular basis. Remember that the knock sensor is basically a microphone looking for noise in a certain frequency. A header touching/tapping against something, or a loose collector clamp or exhaust leak can wreak havoc. If all that is good and the fuel trims/afr are good make sure that on a boosted car IAT temps are under control.
