Hell, why not make it $200k? This type pricing model has already proven itself to be effective in America's increasingly 1% economy and it has done so in several sectors. The rich are richer than ever and the only thing that matters to that crowd is who will shell out more $ to look richer and more exclusive than some other poor 1%er soab that only makes a million or two a year.
Sarcasm aside, how much more in cost will it take to build a halo camaro vs. a 2ss? Probably 5-10k in actual cost per unit to GM. Fact of the matter is the camaro isn't here to do anything other than take our money, plain and simple. At some point any inanimate object is only worth what it takes to build and a little extra to cover the cost of business. Pricing something that high without giving any merit to the cost to replicate that performance level on another platform is ridiculous.
