If your screen is blank/black its an easy fix. My car has done this to me once. Its in the fusebox in the trunk. Position is "F16 DISPLAY" pull the fuse wait 10 seconds and plug it back in and you should be good. Avoids a trip to the dealer but there is an update thru GM that eliminates this software issue. I just cant be bothered going in for this as I sais it happened about a year ago.
