been looking at the L8T stuff for awhile. the only time i can see it being worth much is like you said, a few pieces to add to an LT1 rebuild. otherwise i think it'll be a dud. iron block, less compression, and most likely won't have sodium filled valves. i think the cam profile will ultimately determine the stock long blocks potential.
