There's a spot between Tucson and Phoenix at Picacho Peak where, for whatever reason (the mountain I guess), the wind just sometimes violently whips through there unbeknownst to those on the road. One time in my Chevy Silverado, it was so strong it literally pushed me well off the road. I can't imagine if I was riding a motorcycle what would have happened. Picacho Peak also happens to be the western-most cite of a Civil War battle. But that has nothing to do with a 1LE and makes me sound like Cliff Claven.
