I don't have my Camaro yet, but the dogs are one of the many reasons I'm keeping my current car as the daily driver - lots more room for them in the crossover SUV, and I've already got the protective stuff for that. They won't be getting into the Camaro unless it's a literal life or death emergency.

For those of you that do have dogs, I highly recommend you get a tether for them (meant for use with harnesses, not collars). You can loop them over the headrests and it will keep them from jumping out a window or door. My ex worked at a 'doggy daycare' and more than once witnessed a dog jumping out unexpectedly when the owner opened the door upon arrival, and sadly at least two of those led to traffic fatalities...
