I braked close to as late as possible
from 140+mph 3 times in 2:30 at Road America (plus other smaller braking zones) on stock pads and stock tires without issues but my pads did wear faster at that track than most others. I didn't try doing laps that fast for every single lap of a whole session but I would guess the tires would probably overheat and start to slide before the brake fade became noticeable on stock tires.
Note that I have installed the GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors (Blackwing deflectors would work too, maybe better) and the smaller metal brake dust / splash shields behind the front rotors...results might be worse without them.
