What got me interested in the comparison between the two was a ask al question response I found where a 1LE was compared to a 1SS with the lowering kit and the handling kit and 1LE wheel and tire combo. The 1LE turned a 2:00 track time and the SS did a 2:02 I was a little surprised they were so close.
Don't let your wife drive it.

Yes but the SS has all of the same cooling as the 1LE where the LT1 does not.

My thoughts were, the 1LT was about $3,000 less than the 1SS, and the 1LE package adds $7,000 right out of the gate. The main issue is that most of the 1LE spec cars were sitting at $50,000 or more. I ended up getting my 2020 LT1 A10 car for about $36,500 after rebates and GM Supplier Pricing.

I figured for $2,500 I can add a 1LE set of wheels/tires, and still have my 245 all seasons. Add the GM suspension kit and swaybar kit for $1,500, and have a car that handles nearly the same as the 1LE car. Correct, I don't have a eLSD, or the extra oil cooler, but for me, those items were not the best very relevant for me. I don't plan to track the car full time, and I'm not a very serious racer.
Just my $0.02

Pretty sure your LT1 has the same oil cooler/warmer as an SS/1LE because it is the same LT1 engine, unless they removed the plate exchanger from the LT1 model. (Oil cooler is the same on the ZL1/ZLE too) You don't have the auxiliary radiators, tranny cooler, or diff cooler though. The oil cooler (if present) will have less heat removal capacity because of only having the 1 radiator too.
