P0335 Crank position sensor.

Hi All,

I got a weird one.

I turned off my car for about 2 minutes, went to start it back up and the battery was near dead. It was at 14 volts when I left home, now it was at about 10 with the car not starting. ECU gave me a bunch of system warnings.

I see a code thrown and its P0355 crank position sensor.

Battery dies, tow truck comes, fails to get a charge to my battery (his equipment fails). I get my car towed home, use my own truck and I am able to jump my car. The code is there, I clear it and park my car.

Could a battery low in volts cause this code to pop because the car systems don't all have to juice to complete their checks?
