Tracks almost always benefit from lower and stiffer as they are mostly a lot smoother without the uneven pavement, expansion joints, etc. that roads have to deal with
Unless you are at The Ring, most tracks can hide most bad behavior that springs have because they are too smooth to really test them.

I’m not sure I understand your logic. So other than Nurburgring, where else can we properly evaluate the effectiveness of a particular spring? Certainly not on the street.. Either way, this was an Autocross in a parking lot with tons of ruts and surface defects, not a prepared track.
