I wouldn't say it is a hyped product but for everyday street cars it just isn't needed, if this were a race car that every percentage point is important or you don't have a flex fuel sensor that reads the percentage and adjusts the tune so it had to be perfect every time then it would be something to look at. For a street car with a flex fuel sensor and self adjusting tune pump E is perfectly fine to use.
