Really sad, but true unfortunately.
Back on topic, I just had my dealer do my first oil change at 1000 miles. I asked them to use the Mobil 1 0W-40 ESP and they were happy to do so. Given that GM has switched all the LT1/4 factory fills to that, it seemed like a good idea.
