I don't think the old-man sterotype will fit anymore. Most of the old guys are going to hate this because it is too big a departure from the good-ole-days, and no manual. And young folks could care less about tradition, they are too young for there to be any tradition, and they don't know how to drive a manual.

But, time will tell....
GM has been trying for decades to get younger buyers into the Corvette but the cost is the limiting factor. Young buyers can’t afford a $60-70k second car. Maybe they can lease one.
