Your assuming that a Mustang buyer is interested in a Vette. The C7s were available in the 50k range and the Mustang still sold great. Did the 50k base C7 steal Camaro buyers away? At the end of the day most will purchase what their passion is. In regards to the C8 yes it is a cool car now but as soon as a Z06 option is offered it will be forgotten about. At least with a ZL1-E you are at the top of the Camaro food chain. I'd still rather have a ZL1.
