No, its bolt on. No tune as I know being needed, or that Soler the manf. recommends.
A testimony: I was skeptical of buying it. Now 700 miles in; I’m very impressed by how smooth the throttle is. Them saying it compliments the throttle controller isnt bs. It does.
Visually in hand its a shame its not seen on engine. Also what I got has some interesting milling. Seems to be evolution from what I saw. Theres golf ball like milling on the butterfly through axle. Trick stuff.
I already own the throttle controller. I just ordered the new Bluetooth DLX unit for its improved versatility. The fact we can disable the throttle in to dummy mode is a slick theft redundancy. Same with valet mode.
Soler Engineering has their game together. Happy to support them.
