Just drain it cold, and fill it till it comes back out the fill hole, plug it, and done.
Always, make sure you can take the fill plug out first, before taking the drain plug out.
If for some reason the fill plug won't budge, then you won't have drained all the
fluid out, and disabled the vehicle. Same when doing a rear diff oil change.
