If performance is not the end all factor, why not get a v6? It's still going to be significantly faster than the 5th gen v6. Probably right in between the v6 and l99 SS.
I can't remember the last time I even had a good race in my supercharged G8 GT. lots if faster cars, but it's not like I ever ran into them in the street.
