Long story short my diff had cold morning groan. I just recently replaced it with leftover fluid I had from my G8 GT. If you are not familiar with the G8 fluid it is the super expensive Castrol carbon mod saf. Three mornings in a row I have been groan free. I need to drive it a few hundred more miles before making a definitive conclusion but so far it seems to have fixed the problem.
