I purchased the wheels and tires with all new sensors. Not sure what the hang up is here.

None of those older tricks work like unplugging the battery or letting out air pressure work. They must calibrated with a relearn tool as stated above. Sounds to me like the shop put in the wrong sensors and/or didn't follow the correct relearn process.
