The reason I asked which motor is I would consider the V6 and V8 versions to be HO and would do the first change at 500 miles then 1500 again. If the car is a 4 cyl I would think that 1500 and again at 3000 would be okay. I do believe in over doing it when it comes to oil changes, Im at 4400 miles and just did my 6th change. Kinda a therapy to work on my cars in a way.
