When manual transmissions have a mechanical park sprag on the output shaft that engages only in the neutral gate (essentially what the "Park" position is in automatics), remote-start in a manual transmission car becomes as good as remote start in an automatic.
Not a moment before.
That would get around the P-brake vs leaving it in gear vs all the various electrical/electronic band-aids currently in use.
