Having said that now would be a good time to pose the question: How does the C7 rank in desirability when compared to previous models? Does it achieve C2 coolness or is it more along the lines of a C4? Performance, style and innovation all get points. I'm a C2 BB (classic) and a C6 Z06 (modern) type of guy myself. Speaking objectively, the C7 is a beast. It checks all of the boxes, IMHO. There is a reason why GM went mid-engine with the C8. The C7 maxed out the front-engine layout in terms of performance. The car is perfectly balanced and is practically incapable of being upset in the twisties. Tremec 6070, LT1 mill, fully functional aero and cooling vents, carbon fiber roof and hood, much improved interior over the C6, etc., etc., etc.. For it to compete against cars that cost double or triple and still prevail...it speaks volumes.

Lastly, I know that appearance is subjective, but my GS gets the "thumbs up" everywhere I go. It doesn't matter if they are 8 or 88, people simply love the car. And just to add, I had my Camaro SS built to the hilt and it got attention, but over the past several years I have found out that there is nothing like a Vette. Fantastic machine...
