This is how you apply Essence, and how much product to use.
Meguiars DMF finishing pads are great with it. 1 slow pass, product will be clear, go over the edges, wipe off the little residue that remains, go to next section.
You can't do this with a standard finishing polish. It takes 4-6 section passes with them to get it to flash (turn clear). Essence also leaves a layer of protection that lasts up to a year.
My car is not garaged and it lasted a year, and would have gone longer. I had to do two APC washes to remove it all after a year. I do top it with Reload, and do a Hydrofoam wash every 3 months.
The DMF pad creates a bit more heat than a foam pad. Unless your in the rare occasion to have an unusual clearcoat that doesn't like Essence, you wont have any hazing with it. When your done with the panel, check it with a light. If you have a spot that looks hazy, this is just excess product. Make a quick pass over the spot (don't add more product) and it's gone.
