I got my SS back yesterday and the shudder seems to be gone.
The tech told me they used the newest type fluid but I won't get my paperwork until Monday.
He also told me its a back flush to clear the solenoid screens that are in the tranny. (Pretty sure GM knows exactly whats wearing and why. Flush and fluid is obviously the most cost effective route for them presently.)
My front brakes were turned and rear diff "flushed" and fluid changed...not sure how you flush a differential?
I'll test the diff out today on the first drive.
The whole process was seamless....they have done this more than once and stated the flush is the cure.....I chuckled but he assured me....lol. They were more concerned about the rear diff and stated it may have to be changed if the fluid change does not correct it. They had a series of questions on the rear diff concerning sound....vibration...etc...
