At my request the dealer did not wash or detail the car. I spent the afternoon detailing the 1LE with my wife. First was power spray then foam cannon, power spray, hand wash, iron-x for the rail dust, then clay bar, then wash. Did a little hand polishing on a few spots and finished with a nice coat of Pinnacle Signature Series II carnauba paste wax. Overall the quality of the paint is pretty darn good. I give it an 8 out of 10.
My wife loves to detail cars like I do and is a gear head too. Got to love that!  |
