Were you comparing the two thinking that the cost would be the same to install each individually? Cam installs aren't easy on these LT1's when compared to the fifth gen L99 and LS3. I would do both since the car will need a tune with the cam. So if you added the flex fuel sensor to the cam package, the price won't be an additional $1100, maybe another $500 on top of the cam install.
