I live in the DC metro area and have relatively few snow and Ice days...I would plan on putting on a good winter\all season tires for the colder months. Typically, during inclement weather, I work from home so braving the elements is not mandatory.
This is a $65k+ vehicle and I plan to use it...I don't understand the whole putting it away for winter thing... I do not intend to go snow plowing around town or going up to the mountains to go skiing but the vehicle should be reasonably sound to get around 95% time ~ snow/ice notwithstanding...
I'm asking because I'm considering the ZL1 versus getting another German vehicle when my lease is up in Feb. I noticed the majority of people on this forum have multiple cars for sunny days, rainy days, grocery shopping and weekends. 
Is it crazy for ZL1 to be driven daily? |
Drive it, but definitely change the tires.
