I would think it works? Would have to check the wiring diagram to know for sure, but the M6 cars have the exact same shift paddles on them except they're labeled "rev match." I would assume the whole point of that is to cut costs, so it wouldn't make sense to me to change the internal wiring of the wheel (thus adding more cost back in) if that's the case.

Or, you might even be able to swap your current paddles into the new wheel. Other GM wheels that I've taken apart before use screws to hold those kind of things together, so I'd imagine the paddles are transferable if stuff mentioned above doesn't work.
