Phase 14: Smoked 3rd Brake Light

Ordered this last week after the thread about the "mishandled ones" that ThatCamaroPartsGuy had for sale $50 SHIPPED! I did not plan on getting it until I could afford the smoked tail lights but I could not pass up a deal like that. Matt was extremely responsive on the FB page and had it ordered and at my desk in 3 days. The light has super light scuffs but nothing that can't be removed with a little bit of plastic polish. I didn't use anything because it looks fine unless you press your eyeball against the plastic.

Install took about 30 minutes. 3 minutes getting the old one out, 2 minutes figuring out how the plug came out, a minute putting the new one in and 24 minutes of cleaning the old 3m tape off. I used a healthy amount of goof off and intermittently used some degreaser to make sure the sticky stuff wasn't on any of the paint.

I must say, it looks SO good. I cannot wait to get the tail lights to complete the look.
