any single modification can risk voiding multiple different components under a microscope and can be used as a foundation to deny service to you. Then you have to chase the dealer to make it happen. In some states they can flat out refuse with no recourse.

In most cases it is safe to say, if you don't have contacts at the dealer, don't expect service on a car with performance mods when it comes to drivetrain issues that aren't part of a recall or well known TSB.

That being said, some dealers will just bill the hours to warranty and take the business instead of seeing you fuming and upset blasting out of the lot. Even though I made friends with my service adviser at the dealer near me, I still don't take my car in after the mods. Never gotten good work done at the dealer honestly.
