Well not exactly: tons of folks here run slicks on stock cars either with spacers and/or grinding to accommodate 2.8 to 2.9F camber. At that, the inside will likely cord. So adding even more camber will likely cord inside even faster. Heck, I almost corded inside F with 2.6. But clearly it will be tires and track dependent (to a degree).
