Agreed. I'll add that the standard Shelby was no match for the SS 1LE and barely a match for the SS despite the hefty price. The R version was a match only because of the different aero stuff it had over the non-R and the CF wheels. So if the 18 is getting Magneride and if it is detuned and it obviously isn't coming with CF wheels then I doubt it'll put up much of a fight against the SS 1LE. I think the real competitor will be the PP2 and nobody is sure of what it'll have and how much it'll cost.

Good riddance. I think Ford did a terrible job with this one. They really dropped the ball. A diehard fan will stand by it. But anyone cross-shopping would probably go a different route.
